1. This contest is open to all Malaysian citizens from 10th June 2006 to 10th July 2006.
2. Employees of NST Group of Publications, NSTP e-Media Sdn Bhd, DAPAT Vista (M) Sdn Bhd, Prize Sponsors, participating Network Operators, their advertising and promotion agencies and immediate families are NOT eligible to participate.
3. Only SMS received via mobile phones within the contest period are eligible for the contest prizes, subject to the winning criteria.
4. Pricing for sending and receiving SMS for every Network Operator is as displayed in the contest’s print advertisements and in the contest’s website http://imetro.hmetro.com.my.
5. Participants need to send the SMS to the designated short code DAPAT | 32728 published in the Harian Metro.
6. Proof of SMS sent is not proof of SMS receipt. Only SMS that were acknowledged received via ‘Thank you’ SMS messages are valid. Harian Metro & DAPAT Vista (M) Sdn Bhd will NOT be responsible and liable if any SMS cannot be delivered due to Participating Network Operators’ connection issues, arising from out of coverage areas, traffic congestions, et cetera.
7. Winning Criteria: a. Accurate answer and fastest time response b. Earliest participation c. Highest number of SMS sent (Tie-breaker) d. One winner per daily contest
8. Winners will be published in Harian Metro and will be notified by telephone. Winners must provide original new IC and is the legitimate owner of the mobile number used to send the winning entry/s as proof of identity. Prizes are not exchangeable for other items and not transferable to other individuals.
9. The eligibility of the prizes is subject to: a. Winners being contactable within 3 working days after the date of winners’ selection. b. The subscribers’ account must also be active at the point of announcement of winners.
10. Each winner is only entitled to one prize. ALL PRIZES ARE NOT REDEEMABLE FOR CASH. Prize sponsors reserve the right to replace any prize with other items of equal value.
11. Prize winners MUST claim their prizes on the date of the prize giving ceremony, which will be announced later. After the prize giving ceremony, all unclaimed prizes, MUST be collected at Harian Metro’s office within a period of ONE (1) month. After the grace period, all unclaimed prizes will be returned to the respective sponsors.
12. Accommodation and/or transportation costs to the prize giving ceremony venue will be borne by the prize winners. Any cost incurred in collecting the prizes at Harian Metro will also be borne by the prizewinners.
13. Organizers’ decision is final and no correspondence or any form of enquiry and/or complaint will be entertained after the campaign ends.
14. Organizer’s or Prize sponsors reserve the right to publish or display photographs of winners of this campaign for advertising and publicity purposes.
